Sonic, Knuckles, and Tails reunite against a powerful new foe, Shadow, a mysterious villain with unprecedented powers. With their abilities outmatched, Team Sonic must seek an unlikely alliance. The filmmakers of the previous films have mentioned playing both Sonicku Adobebenchâ 2 (2001) and the single-player game Shadow the Hedgehog (2005) for inspiration.
